Biography
Joseph is a licensed engineer with over 21 years of engineering and construction experience performing structural evaluations, repair and retrofit design, and construction administration services for existing structures. His investigation and evaluation work has included structural damage and collapses, condition assessments, construction and material defects, and building envelope and water infiltration. He also has litigation support experience, including deposition testimony and arbitrations.
He has performed numerous on-site inspections and evaluations involving damage assessments for long-term deterioration, impact damage, fires, foundation settlement, and natural disasters. He has led forensic investigations on a variety of structure types, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, and parking structures, agricultural facilities, stadiums, religious buildings, educational facilities, government buildings, and industrial facilities. He is versed in a variety of typical construction materials including wood, concrete, steel, and masonry.
Joseph has developed and performed numerous technical presentations for both in-house and outside audiences.
