Biography
Lisette Terry, PE, is a Civil Engineer with 17 years of structural engineering experience. Ms. Terry has contributed to the success of various projects, from single-family residential repairs to high-rise steel building design to the sizable Panama Canal Third Set of Locks design. Ms. Terry designed the Water Saving Basin structures that efficiently reduce the water usage from Lake Gatun as each ship passes through the Third Set of Locks in Panama.
Ms. Terry’s Forensic Practice focus areas include fire and life safety, property damage assessments and investigations, foundation analysis, water intrusion, and construction defects. She has specific expertise in reconstruction design. Her primary work focuses on investigating and assessing reported damage to single-family residential, multi-family residential, and commercial buildings. Ms. Terry is proficient at fire-damaged structural assessments, vehicle-damage structural assessments, snow-damage structural assessments, building envelope investigations, construction defect investigations, structural repair recommendations, code upgrade requirements, and preparation of permitted sets of structural repair plans.
